Our plumbing problems continue to grow. One thing that keeps us going is our sense of humor. Here are some exchanges with service people.
Plumbing investigator: We'll need to run a video camera through the toilet to see the pipes.
Ellen: If it would help, I could swallow the camera.

Ellen: Thanks for the estimate. We've decided to have you do the repair work. We shopped around and found it would be cheaper to pay you to do the repair than to have someone burn down the house.
Plumbing contractor: Right, I charge more than that to burn down houses.
